This is the new BLUE PCB that is used in our new Version 2.0 Reverse Geocache™ Shield kits. It mates with the Arduino’s female header pins to form the box’s electronics assembly and provides the following interfaces:

pin to Arduino power, bus, and general purpose I/O pins
GPS
connector for LED-pushbutton
servo
2AA battery power supply
2×8 display interface
piezo buzzer
onboard voltage boost regulator
onboard digital power switch

The digital power switch allows the controller to turn itself off. This is a crucial feature for a device that may need to stay operative for months at a time between battery replacements.
